Equipment and installation

Q: Do you do both indoor & outdoor events?

 A:  Yes we can do Indoors or outdoor events. We like to keep the party going, each of our castles come with a tailor made shower cover designed for the individual castle. This means the kids can still jump.

Q: How much space do I need to leave for the castle?

A: There must be a minimum of an additional 4ft at front & back of the castle (for the blower and easy access) and we recommended that there is an additional 2ft on either side of the castle. Please also ensure that there is enough room to bring the castle to the area where you would like it set up, as a trolley is used.

Q:  Can the bouncy castle be set up on a slope?

A:   No this is not possible however if it is a very slight slope it may be ok, you will need to discuss this prior to the booking.

Q:  How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable?

A:   The bouncy castles take approx 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on which castle you hire.

Q: Can you set up the castle upstairs?

A: No, as the castle can only be safely moved using a trolley, although one or two steps are manageable.

Q: Is your equipment clean?

A: Yes all of our castles were bought in 2007, so you will enjoy the cleanest and latest inflatables in your area.  Equipment is checked after each use to ensure that it remains clean. We do ask that if you do make a mess on our equipment, that you clean it up as quickly and safely as possible as, if their is substantial mess, a cleaning charge may have to be taken out of your deposit.

Safety

Q: How safe are the castles that you supply?

 A: Very safe. All our castles were bought in 2007 and each come with their own Manufacturers Safety Certificate. Padded safety mats and an extra long extension lead (with RCD adaptor) are both supplied with bookings. A quick risk assessment will also be carried out by the installer.

Q: Do you carry Public Liability Insurance?

A: Yes Ben’s Bouncy Castle Hire carries £1 million pounds in full Public Liability Insurance. All current safety and insurance documents will be shown on the day at the time of delivery.

Q:  Do you supply safety instructions?

A:   Yes we provide detailed safety instructions with every hire

Q:  What age can go on your castles?

A:   We do not restrict age however would recommend that no children over 5ft tall use the castles. We also recommend for safety purposes no more than seven (7) children should use the castle at the same time.

Q: Is everyone associated with Ben’s Bouncy Castle Hire Police Checked?

 A: Yes all staff have completed an enhanced police check by the Criminal Records Bureau. These documents are available to see on request.

Payments

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

 A: Ben’s Bouncy Castle Hire accepts payment by cash upon delivery we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however our drivers are very busy and have a limited time to allocate to each job. If you wish to pay by cheque payments will be accepted in advance but must be received in sufficient time for funds to clear before the booking date. We do not accept cheques on the day.

Q: When do you require the payment?

A: If paying by cheque payment must be received at least eight working days before the event, if paying by cash payment is required on the day when the castle is installed.  

Q: Are there any booking charges or cancellation fees?

A: No a booking deposit is not required, and cancellations or re-scheduled bookings are allowed right up to the start of your event with NO CHARGE!

Q:  Do I get a reference / receipt number?

A:   For all bookings made seven days or more in advance, written confirmation will be sent. For any bookings made at the last minute you will be given a receipt and confirmation of the booking on the day by the installer.

Miscellaneous

Q: What time do you deliver and collect the castles?

 A: Deliveries and collections times are flexible to suit you, although typically delivery is made between 9.00 - 10:OOam and collection around 6.00 pm.

Q: When are your bouncy castles available?

A: Our castles are available 7 days a week all year round, including Bank Holidays.

Q: Can you provide supervisors for my event?

A: Yes, you can hire a supervisor for your event for £6.00 per hour. The supervisor will be able to supervise children using the castle or just give you a helping hand with your party.

Q: How much notice do I need to give you for a booking?

A: You can book anytime however bookings get very busy so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
